Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice acting were also used for Tess in the Naughty Dog videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. As a child she participated in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. She went on to star in guest roles on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest parts on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she was an ongoing series regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the catcher role for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on December 7 the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek: Picard's second season in September 2021.
