American actor Danielle Riley Keough. 2. Born in Santa Monica (California) to the musicians Lisa Marie Presley & Danny Keough she is the grandchild of actress Priscilla Presley, as well as singer Elvis Presley. Keough was raised by her father in Hawaii, Los Angeles and was able to spend time with her mother in California. When she was 15, she began modeling, with appearances at fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior in addition to being featured on the cover of Vogue. Her first feature film appearance came at the age of 20 when she starred in a supporting role as Marie Currie in The Runaways (2010). After The Good Doctor (2011) her role was in Jack & Diane (2012). In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name. Her performance received high praise and received nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Limited Series or Motion Picture. Keough's subsequent performance as a young, strident woman in American Honey (2017) won an even greater amount of acclaim. She received an Independent Spirit Award nomination. The same year, Keough appeared in the apocalyptic slasher film It Comes at Night (2017) as well as reuniting with Soderbergh to play a role in his heist film Logan Lucky.
