Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born in Portland,
Maine, to Janice (Cooke), an accountant, as well as William Kendrick, a
teacher. Her older brother is, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who also has acted. Anna
Kendrick is Scottish, Irish and English. Her amazing performance won her the
Drama League and Theatre World Award.She was a lead performer in Cabaret's Kit
Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live" in Great Performances: My Favorite
Broadway: The Leading Ladies (1999) (TV). Also, she had the honor of working

with director Todd Graff.Was nominated for the 1998 Broadway Tony Award as Best
Actress (Featured role - Musical) for "High Society." After the 1991
Tony winner Daisy Eagan, she was the second youngest nominee. George Clooney
ridiculed her in the NYC Opera House with Jeremy Irons and choreographer Susan
Stroman. She also appeared in "Jane Eyre" and "The Little
Princess" for Broadway. In 1998, Jason Reitman cast her in Up in the Air.
After watching her performance in Rocket Science (2007). The only actress from
the 'Twilight' Saga to be nominated for an Oscar. In 2010 she was nominated
between the second- and third episodes of the series. Has the distinction of
having appeared in three large screen musicals, including Into the Woods
(2014),
