Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda was an Filipino singer/songwriter, rose to prominence in the Philippines in the 1890s. He was also the lead singer of the American rock band Journey in 2007. Arnel Pineda is 54 older. Arnel was motivated by his mother to sing while he was a young child. His parents entered him in numerous singing contests. Arnel's mother was suffering from heart disease and died at the age of Arel was just 13 years old. After the death of his mother his family was in debt. His father was behind by six months in rent payments and was not able to provide his family with income. So, his father requested his family to aid Arnel. Arnel is the youngest of three children: Roderick Pineda, Joselito Pineda, and Russmon Pineda. The family was in a state of disarray, Arnel quit school and began to work to alleviate his father's burden. Arnel lived for nearly two years on the streets, sleeping wherever he could, whether in public parks or in an uninspiring bench in front of a friend's crowded house. He gathered glass bottles, newspapers, and scrap metals and made them available to recyclers. Arnel also worked odd jobs, such as cleaning scrap metal , and docked ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. In 2001, the couple got married. The couple have two children together: a daughter (Theachenelle Pineda) and a son (Cherub). Arnel has two other sons: Matthew and Angelo.
