Aisha jamila hinds was born in the United States and is most well-known for her performance in The Shield. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proven her acting versatility by giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. As of 2005 she gained attention initially for her role as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However it was her role as feminist activist Fannie Lou Hamer on the film biographical All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actress. Hind was also praised for the role she was playing as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will be renewed for another season. Hind was recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is set to be released mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in March 2017 after a long career as a scientist in India's Army. Vrinda, her mother, is a homemaker. Aditya Rao who is employed in merchant navy engineering, is her sibling older. His brother wrote and produced the movie Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents been living since they moved there. She finished her secondary education at Jai Hind College for a year prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she earned a score of 90% in her H.S.C. exams. Her adolescence was spent studying the classical dance and music for five years. Her most loved subject was Zoology. Bachchan was a student at architecture in 1994, when she was named Miss World. The award catapulted her into the modeling industry's fast track. Her lucrative jobs for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine as well as her spokesmodel agreement with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Her acting career began well with her highly acclaimed roles in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films are a departure from traditional Bollywood structure. Bachchan was made the king of Bollywood because of her heartbreaking portrayal in Paro in the film Devdas. She plays an unfaithful love interest for the character of Paro in Devdas (2002) which is one of Bollywood's most popular movies. Devdas also happened to be the first Bollywood film shown at Cannes Film Festival. She received great praise for her role on the screen in Chokher Bali (2003) which was a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's novel. In the same year she was an the only Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. This was the moment that Bachchan brought her star power as well as beauty into her debut major English-language film. In 2006, Bachchan returned to Bollywood with her hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). In April 2007, she got married Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star and the daughter of Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of India's greatest personalities.
